Resident Program

Applications are now being accepted until 12/31/07

The position of Resident Firefighter is an individual that lives at the fire station. They are assigned their own room and have the use of all station facilities. They work assigned shifts on a predetermined schedule. The individual is a person that is seeking valuable training and experience in their endeavor to become a career firefighter.

 

Application Process consists of:

  • Application packet ~ due by December 31, 2007
  • Physical Agility Testing ~ January 6, 2008
  • Interview ~ January 13, 2008
  • Chief’s Interview ~ January 20, 2008

ILS Training ~ EMT-I Class

January – June 2008
$750.00

This class is designed for individuals that want to take the next step
in their pursuit of becoming a valuable member of the fire service.
The recruits are being instructed by active fire service personnel,
while using the tools and equipment used on a daily basis.

Classes are held:
Wednesdays 1900 - 2200
Saturdays 0800 – 1700
