NEW in 2012 & We still offer free CPR & First-Aid training for our community members.

In 2012 we will be holding our CPR and FirstAid classes on the third Saturday of every other month starting March 17th. The CPR Class will begin at 9:00am and the FirstAid will follow at approximately 12:00noon. Each class is about three hours long and you are welcome to attend either class or both. The classes are to be held in our station 53, located at 501 Louis Ave, Goldbar WA 98251. If you have a group of 10 or more, please contact us so that we can make arrangements to accommodate your group.

CPR

Our CPR Program offers classes from American Heart Association, and a certification card is issued at the conclusion of the class for those who successfully complete the training. The certification is good for two years. Pre-registration is required for this class and class size will be limited to 20 participants.

CPR Manuals, pocket masks, and faceshield key chains are available for purchase during class at cost.

Adult/Child/Infant CPR and optional AED classes are taught by our department's certified instructors.

Healthcare Provider - This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals, the ability to recognize several life-threatening
emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effecive manner. The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed/non-licensed healthcare professionals. This includes dental practices.

First Aid

First Aid Classes are taught by our department's certified instructors.

Heartsaver First Aid - This course covers many first aid topics and can include bandage practice, splinting, and environmental emergency topics.

The class is approximately three hours. A certification is given at the end of the class for all those who successfully complete the training. Pre-registration is required for this class and class size will be limited to 20 participants.

CPR is performed on someone known to the rescurer 70% of the time. CPR isn't just for people having a heart attack. 7 million adults and children suffer disabling injuries in their homes and backyards each year which may require CPR

SCFD 26 is committed to making a positive difference in our community
through education and training. We offer the necessary skills to create confident individuals who can perform CPR and operate an AED.
